Popular Afrobeat singer, Afeez Adeshina, widely known as Destiny Boy, has passed away.
Destiny Boy died at the age of 22.
The news of his death was confirmed on Sunday, January 18, 2025, after a video showing his lifeless body circulated on social media.
As at the time of filing this report, the body of the deceased is being conveyed to Abeokuta in Ogun State for burial.
Ebelenaija reports that the late singer gained prominence in 2019 after releasing a Fuji cover of Davido’s hit song “If.”
He announced the arrival of his first child in November 2024 on his Instagram page.
Rumors flying on social media claimed he died in the house of a herbalist but Ebelenaija and all legitimate news source is yet to confirm the actual cause of the sudden death of the young star.
