But just as fast as one can rise, one can also fall — and the story of Usunobun Edwards Okojie, Popularly Known as Thespian Nozy, an upcoming comedy content creator and member of the comedy group Real House of Comedy, is a clear example of how fame without discipline can end in personal and professional downfall.
The Short-term Rise
Thespian Nozy first attracted some public attention with his skits and relatable comedy content that started gaining little recognition online in 2015. His early videos with fellow members of the Real House of Comedy displayed creativity, originality, and a raw sense of humor that appealed to a growing fan base. Later on, it became surprising how Thespian Nozy broke apart the Real House of Comedy group through greed, Selfishness, and alleged wicked actions. This eventually led to him going broke and begging for financial support online through Lucky Udu’s platform.
How Thespian Nozy Defrauded a Film Production Company
On May 16, 2025, after being officially booked and contracted for a movie shoot by the Nollywood registered company Dopason Entertainment Production, Thespian Nozy failed to turn up on the agreed date. At first, the Executive Producers/Producers Prophet Sam Manamong, Letthemsay Pman, Dan Big, and crew gave him the benefit of the doubt when he postponed the shoot, citing personal issues and claiming rain disrupted another shoot he attended first and that he couldn’t make it. However, what followed left everyone shocked.
When the shoot was rescheduled, Thespian Nozy once again failed to show up, giving no credible reason. He even responded to follow-ups with hostility. Reliable sources close to the production revealed he insulted the producer’s mother in a private exchange before blocking all communication from the production team.
Legal and Ethical Implications
Aside from the disrespect shown to the team and the family, Thespian Nozy’s actions carry legal weight. Based on contractual agreements and entertainment laws, deliberate breach of contract — especially when damages are caused — can attract legal action. Until now, the upcoming comedian has reportedly not issued any apology or made efforts to unblock or settle the damages stated in the agreement.
More troubling is his recent online behavior. According to reports, Thespian Nozy has allegedly started engaging in online scams, posing online and deceiving followers into fraudulent dealings, collecting money for film shoots or appearances, and remorselessly failing to deliver.
Dopason Entertainment Production and Unlimited Entertainment still declares publicly that Edo State-born Usunobun Edwards Okojie, alias Thespian Nozy, is wanted and on the run. The company has promised a heavy reward to anyone who can help in his arrest.
