In some many traditions more especially Urhobo traditions, if a man pays bride price and marries a woman properly, and that woman sleeps with another man, the gods or ancestors will punish the husband, especially if he knows and refuses to leave her or do the proper cleansing.

A young man from Sapele, Delta State, named Lucky Ikolo, sadly died yesterday. The report wey dey go round be say his wife was caught sleeping with another young man in their area. Her people chased her away, but Lucky Ikolo, out of strong love (or strong spell though ), secretly brought her back home.
Not long after that, Lucky fell seriously ill and died mysteriously.
So now, people dey ask: Did he died of Love, Spell, or culture ? Rest in peace, Lucky Ikolo.
