The Naira yesterday appreciated to N1,480 per dollar in the parallel market, up from N1,490 per dollar recorded last weekend. Similarly, the Naira strengthened to N1,464 per dollar in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM).
According to data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, the exchange rate for the naira closed at N1,464 per dollar, compared to N1,469 per dollar on Friday of last week. This reflects a gain of N5 for the local currency.
